Where are the most fun places to work as a product manager? Typically in searches you see top companies: Google, Amazon, Meta, etc.

To describe fun: good group of cross functional partners, hands off management, low corporate politics, and an overall good culture in the PM orgs

Big tech companies have good opportunities to learn, get mentored by more senior PMs and try different roles but they suffer from micromanagement, too much process and politics. The traits you’re looking for would be more common in start ups.

I love being a PM at Amazon. PM’s have a lot of influence and are truly the voice of the customer. Well thought through processes and the detailed and high quality writing culture help me to grow both professionally and personally. While the team may play a big role in your experience with Amazon, I wanted to share that there are people who have good experiences at Amazon too :)

Hi there. I previously had a beautiful baby girl through IVF and emergency c-section. Now I'm in the process of completing my pre-requisites before another FET. I had my hydrosonogram, trial embryo transfer, and an overall check of my uterus. Due to my muscle thickness, they're recommending with my next pregnancy to have another c-section. I tried Googling but can't find any info. Anyone been through this before and know what they're referring to? I just like to be as informed as I can.

Hello! I see a ton of questions in here about interviewing and getting hired as a PM. I also know that it’s really hard as a manager to hire a great team. I’m the head of product at a growing startup, and just hired two PMs in 3 months. One a career switcher who’d never been a PM before, and one a seasoned principal PM. Whether you are someone who’s interviewing or someone who’s hiring right now, ask me anything!

I’ve been promoted with a title but not the responsibilities. I’m job searching and am primarily looking at postings that don’t include my promoted title — I’m not sure how to professionally articulate in an interview why I would be willing to take a “step down”. As I see it, I’m looking for a lateral move because I don’t actual have experience as a true “senior”.

I like to apply for Product Manager roles at Amazon since I like the role. I have done front office CRM (SAP) implementations for Fortune50 clients through Accenture.
It is more of sitting with users to understand their process and map it to CRM suite and build additional features to map their specific processes.
I have also worked on sales, BD and functional spec creation for new features.
Can I count these as Product Management experience while applying for Amazon or other Faangmula?
