It’s unlikely a company would pay the excessive costs associated with sponsoring a non-skilled employee. Lawyers in general are not being sponsored as much and note that those jobs require advanced degrees (usually JD or LLM) and relevant bar admission. So right now it’s unlikely you’ll find any legal job in the U.S. that requires sponsorship, much less a good remote one.
I don't want to sound overly negative, but you may have to adjust your expectations. Remote jobs have become very hard to find, and finding one that would include visa sponsorship is going to be exponentially more difficult. Just getting sponsored for an H1-B is becoming quite an expense, so don't count on that happening.
Honestly, in this market, I don't think there is hope of that happening. There are a lot of unemployed locals, so companies don't need to look outside their borders to find cheap employees. Remote jobs are also extremely rare now.
