Bain & Company Hi there! I'm looking to connect, and hopefully receive a referral for the Bain Associate Consultant Intern program in a SEA office. Happy to connect further, perhaps jump into a short call, for you to learn more about me and determine whether I'm a good fit. Thank you and really appreciate it! Bain & Company

I lived in D.C. for 5+ years, it's a great city with tons of amenities. It doesn't get too cold there but humid AF. Booze Allen is great for tech, along with the other big companies based out there. Good if you want to go into govt/public
Pro
Austin but very expensive. SD is second choice.
I just moved from San Diego. It is definitely more expensive than Austin. But it’s beautiful!
LA and San Diego are best weather wise, but more tech growth ops in Austin right now
Don't move to DC if rainy and cold would bother you (also DC sucks, speaking from my personal experience living there). I lived in SD and really liked it, but it's expensive and CA taxes are ridiculous, so I'd choose Austin.
I am not trying to say it’s the worst place ever. If you have family/great friend group there, love your job, it is a large metro area where you can enjoy for sure. My commentary was geared towards if someone has the choice to live essentially anywhere in the US without a family/friend group tie yet, then DC isn’t really the preferable choice
Move to South Florida. We have plenty of opportunities.
Fort Lauderdale
If you’re looking for good weather and tech accessibility you may also want to consider Nashville and Raleigh.
Moving anywhere from FL will feel like a HUGE pay cut! Income tax will be quite a blow.
Yeah, def lucky that there is no income tax here. But insurance and property taxes are expensive.
Where in Florida are you moving from
St Petersburg which is near Tampa
