Do people have ongoing, running text conversations with SO or friends during the workday? My SO thought it was weird at first to not text her throughout the day. What do you people even text about?

My boyfriend doesn't like to talk about his feelings. It's the time of year where he lost his sister (passed away) very suddenly and idk how to bring it up to him. I want him to know I know it's that time but feel like he'll just yell at me.

Has anyone quit their job because of a relationship? I started my job 3 months ago and now my employer wants me to move to NY. Getting married in September, have a vax only policy for guests. I joined Mindtree on 8th Feb and not got project and I was waiting for last 2 and half month. So, i gave interview outside (tech mahindra) and got selected. Almost 30-35% they said they will give and i am negotiating on it.

My main concern was shift and i have some health issues and unable to continue in night shift in Mindtree and tech mahindra its purely EMEA shift and per project team update.

Shall i switch to tech Mahindra?

I am defending an eviction for a client who has given possession of the property (as of Nov. 30). Plaintiff’s complaint has one claim – possession. They did request relief for attorney’s fees. NJT/Final Hearing commenced 10/27, was only 30 min and was therefore continued to 12/20. Plaintiff had counsel at that time but they are no longer represented.  I want to file something notifying Court that Plaintiff claim is now moot, making sure that judgment is not entered that hurts (cont'd)..

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."
