What is the JL bonus structure?
FP has a small hours bonus for 1850/1900 etc. but also gives you 30% of your total fees billed once you your fees billed cross 3x your base salary. Can be very profitable if you bill at a higher than average rate for the firm. No idea how that compares to the others.
It’s under 33% for insured matters overall, but obviously some do 100% and some do next to none. And yes, if you can pick your practice as time goes on, higher rates is one thing to consider. And yes, 6 figure mid/senior associate bonuses are possible when billing about 2100 in non-insured areas assuming no huge cuts to amounts billed to client.
OD is pretty good after the 10k bonus for meeting hours. It’s a percentage of your salary for each additional 50 hours you bill. It’s something like 5% for 1950, 10% for 2000, 15% for 2050
This is mostly accurate. $10k kicks in at 1900 hours, then at 2000, you get an additional 5% of base for every 50 hours (so 5% at 2000, 10% at 2050, 15% at 2100) up to 2200. After 2200 it becomes discretionary.
