Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

Accenture has some good analytics projects and is a leader in data analytics consulting. Caveat is that you have to be well-connected to be placed on these good projects.
Hey OP, I’m interviewing for that same role right now, mind sharing around what comp I should be asking for?
Slalom is decent, but highly depends on the market (location) you're at, some offices are doing more interesting analytics work than others.
Thank you!
Deloitte and Accenture AAI are up there. It hurts me to say this but Deloitte have quite a few interesting projects.
One of my best friends works at D. She told me about how they were trying to improve a companies market position as a project.
The thing is that this project was quite overarching. They got to research to identify opportunities for use cases. Then create a road map for the client for an end state where the company was MUCH more data driven. Think entirely automated experiments.
What is exciting was how large and ambiguous the initial goal was. From the way she described it, it did not seem like an uncommon thing either. It is so easy to miss out on the value addition when solely focused on the technical component at a few of the ACN projects I have been on. That is why I am a little envious of our D counterparts. Also they pay more.
My personal experience based off the firms I've seen bid on projects have been IBM, Deloitte, & Accenture. KPMG lighthouse I heard is also good.
Yes, those companies have the typical boring 'data migration' or 'staff aug' projects but they also do a lot of interesting work too if you can get onto them.
ZS is best for healthcare analytics
Yep. That’s what I have heard as well. I don’t know about the best but pretty good at it
