🙋‍♂️ 2 quad-focused workouts, 2 hamstring workouts and squats for the whole leg. Plus some core work. Usually hit my calves on the upper body days.

Monday is deadlift / back day for me. Feels better starting the week with my heaviest lift

I do em Sunday. Long solid workout, get it out of the way and sets me up nice for the week

I have pull day tomorrow building to heavy single DL and later in the week a heavy push day building to a single heavy squat.

Monday is international chest day

leaves the squat racks and DL platforms for the rest of us!

Waiting for the day leg day doesn’t knock me out for more than 2 days at a time

Bulgarian means the rear leg elevated. Split squat is both feet on the ground, staggered.

Roughly 50% for me. For a set of 5 squats I’ll usually have 315-335 on the bar and for split squats of 5 per side usually 155-165.

Also, it’s typically my 2nd leg exercise, so a little lighter than it would be for my first exercise. If I’m squatting, it’s always first.

Leg day with Super sets. Dead lifts + lunges, squats + shoulder press, leg raise and military press sitting, then leg press + leg curls. 10-15 min cycle after (really helps with lactic acid build up).

Any recs for relatively affordable low-key trainers/gyms/programs around? I gained the COVID 50 (ugh) and am pretty embarrassed about my current shape so I don’t want to jump into a full group fitness class just yet. I had a hectic last three months working up to 16 hours a day due to my project. During this time I took advantage of convenient food which isn’t always the best. Now that things have died down I am having trouble switching from the less convenient food, snaking more than I should and not being as active as I was during the three months previously. How do I alleviate knee pain in my back knee while doing lunges? Woke up this morning and tried to do yoga but in moving from downward dog to crescent with my left foot forward, my right knee started twinging badly enough to stop moving. I do an hour workout and split it between 10 mins cardio and 50 mins strength workout. Q - do you do cardio first or last? I do it first, but see a lot of folks at the gym do it in the end. Any benefit of one vs the other?
