Who knew the secret to getting millions of dollars is to simply become a tomato farmer? 🤔🤣

Btw, this is a well known ‘start-up guru’.

This works much better with candy. My son is killing it on selling fruit snacks, fruit roll ups, and Air Heads. He started with $10 now he has $100 and a bunch of inventory. Also, he doesn’t have to wait for tomatoes to grow.

I did this in middle school. My locker became a candy store and many of the kids spent their lunch money on candy. I would go to Sam's club to get candy I'm bulk to help lower my cogs. My parents who were small business owners thought this was great. The administration were not fans and my candy store was shut down.

With no TVM and a 40% tax rate, breakeven is in 1000 years.

If Nick wants to pay me $1M, I will pay him $50 a month for the rest of his life. I’ll even sweeten the deal and 10x his payment.

Never mind buying the land to plant them on. Farmland and growing permits are included in the $50 I guess?

Do tomatoes grow every six months? Don’t most plants grow fruit like once a year?

Depends on the tomato’s species and the climate you live in.

People have been ripping this on Twitter and I thought it had to be some joke account bit

This joker must have never stepped on an active farm or worked on anything remotely connected to agriculture. Definitely a clown!

Man this is like an allegory for strategy consulting…

Don't give whole foods ideas about selling tomatoes for a dollar each

The thing he didn’t mention is getting f rich off farmer subsidies

Is this why there are so many startups fighting for market share in industries that may never be profitable?
