Considering Biden passed the pact act and Trump didn’t do anything for Vets while in office, the answer seems clearly to be Joe Biden.

likesmart

Objectively true.

Biden, be honest what did Trump do for veterans while in office other than Mock John McCain showing us how much he truly respects veterans

like

Trump routinely took a dump on the McCain family and denigrated POWs, never knew one could go so low. Both candidates are draft dodgers but not sure how you could ever explain away taking jabs at POWs.

Why keep playing games with proxies instead of slapping the hand that feeds? You’d recommend that on any of your projects, why wouldn’t you do the same with foreign policy??

Hi Fishes, Need your advice in choosing between the two. Confused between UBS and Northern Trust. This is for 8 years of experience in Data Engineer profile. CTC is almost same, I am looking to stay longer in my next role (4-5 years), so want clarity on WLB, projects and increment cycles. If you know about any of these 2 organisation, kindly share your input. Any help on this is much appreciated.

Should one add their personal technology that are currently used for remote work on their resume? Seems most companies will provide the hardware and software needed. However, it’s unclear if the employer will provide this through Teamviewer/VPN connection or will send an actual computer. Along with this, would it be pertinent to add your internet capability (speed, fios/cable/satellite/dsl)?

I have a game I love to play at the airport. I find someone who has the most vague resemblance to someone famous and then insist they are that person.

Like "Oh my God, you're Tom Hanks! I love so many of your movies and I think you are great and so funny in interviews. How are you feeling? I heard you had covid?"

Guy who very very vaguely resembles Tom Hanks insists he isn't. Then I keep insisting he is.

This is a fun way to pass time during layovers.

For those of you who got out at 10, do you wish that you rode it out to 20? I’m at a crossroad and I’m not sure what to do. Have some active/reserve time, wrapping up graduate school, and am now considering either a) come back to the business world or b) go active and retire before 50 and live off a nice pension. Obviously there are draws to both. I’m an officer for what it’s worth so I can realistically retire at O-5, MAYBE O-6.
