Why Citi offers high CTC but low-quality laptops and accessories?

I see a lot of my colleagues working in Citi have high CTC but they are getting old windows laptop. Companies like Mastercard offer high end windows laptop but why does citi rely on old windows laptop

I am getting a offer of 20 lpa in india after switch, and on the other hand an uk onsite oppprtunity (minimum 1 year).

Current ctc: 9.5

What are your suggestion/opinion to choose one oppprtunity over other ?

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I revised my CTC from JPMC before joining. Now in 1-1 discussion my manager told very nice things about me but also told me that my CTC is already above market standards for my experience and tech stack. He told that they won't be able to justify my pay and gave me SOO. How much is the hike and bonus for SOO rating?
