Why haven't the recruiter respond to the past 2 emails I've sent for a follow up or status update on the interviews I've had.. it's been 4 weeks since my last interview. Am I being ghosted?

How many candidates are being interviewed for a position at once? I know it probably varies but on my team it seems like maybe 3-5 candidates. I’m interviewing for roles right now and wonder what a typical sized pool would look like. I never make it past the final round so trying to get a better understanding of the process

I’m curious - let’s say you have a role to fill but they are targeting only female candidates to balance out the team. What recruiting strategies can i implement to meet those needs?

Accepted an offer for an internship from a company but the second company I was interview with offered me a job a week later. How do I politely decline the first job even though I’ve already signed the offer?

Currently at Meta (working as a Program Manager) and considering accepting a role with Disney Streaming to support the scaling of Disney+. My dream however is to eventually work at Google. When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.

Curious - would you consider a lateral move to a lower ranked firm if the practice group is higher ranked than at your current firm? In other words what’s more important - firm or practice group ranking?
