Just got the call from a recruiter that they won’t be moving forward with my application after reviewing my take-home writing assignment. I was very proud of what I submitted, and know it was great quality and up to industry standards given I review/write this type of document quite frequently. They gave me good feedback on it, and I have it in the back of my mind that they are using applicants from consulting as free labor. Anyone else feel this way about interview take-home assignments??

I got selected in Infosys and offer was about to get release today but at last minute suddenly today infy HR told I was interviewed 5 months 20 days before in infosys so they cannot proceed now as 6 months cool off period. My sibling (from India) applied for Canadian Visa for study permit (2 years) and it was rejected stating the reason "the IRCC agent was not satisfied that the applicant would leave Canada at the end of their stay.
The intake was in Jan 2023.
