Why is it so hard to make adult friendships. I am trying my best to be out there, meet new people and explore new hobbies. I usually host them too but its been so many years now in the city and I still cannot call one single friend as a close friend.

My TC has fluctuated (currently around 135K CAD), but it seems like it's relatively easy to breach the 100K bar, but hard to breach the 150K bar. I work for a tech company that pays 100k tc plus 50,000 stock options. I have great work life balance, work 4 days per week on a 32 hour schedule plus it’s remote. Lately, I’ve been feeling like the compensation is on the lower end and just wanted to see if it’s in line with industry standards

Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?

Curious to know what you've seen as working to non working dollars split in Canadian agencies. Reference any specific brands (or categories) if you can. I'm used to seeing the conventional 15-20% split for non working (production dollars only, not including media budget, agency fees) but are those days gone now with the takeover of digital (vs traditional) ad placements?
