Tomorrow was my joining date Cognizant .but today just now means in evening 7 pm hr dropped mail that they changed my date of joining by 20 Oct. Now i am trying to call hr but she is not receiving phone.
Will that be any problem. Is same happened with anyone else here.

I joined KGS in feb 2022, we recently got a mail regarding timeline of appraisal and bonus payout from the partner. My reporting manager hasn't yet reached out to me regarding goal setting, not sure if that happens here. Can you pls help me to know what all things we need to do from our end for the appraisal cycle and bonus payout? Since I'm new to this company KPMG KPMG India

Glad I'm not the only one. I'm so sick of interviews getting canceled last minute and recruiters going radio silent after harassing me to apply for jobs. This process is so miserable.
On one of my recent final round interviews, I was told I was over prepared. I think I have heard it all at this point.
Where are courtesy and integrity? They were last seen boarding a bus and leaving town years ago. Seriously, it's very much an employer's market, and a lot of people don't feel much need to be courteous to applicants. I know that some job postings get an absurd amount of applicants, and a lot of them are people spam applying. So it's tough to respond to everyone. But at minimum the serious applicants should get the courtesy of a response, even if it's negative.
I was once ghosted after 4 rounds of interviews at a recognizable American corporation. In the last one the parting words from the hiring manager were “I hope to see you here soon”. I even started researching housing options because I would have had to move.
I found out months later that I was a backup plan in case they decided fire the person that was in the role and they decided to hold onto that person for another six months… after which they had the nerve to contact me to see if I was available.

I agree, after preparing for the interview and reaching to the VP's level they will ghost you.. at least find the decency to tell the person they didn't make it rather than not giving the advice or the status of the application.
It’s so SO frustrating putting in the effort, only to be left hanging. It's like they forget we’re real people on the other side of those applications. Honestly, it's a huge lack of respect, and I wish companies would just give us some closure, whether it’s a yes or no. The ghosting needs to stop!
Since it’s a tight labor market, knowing the right individual is the difference between an interview and an auto rejection. Would suggest to shift your strategy to focusing on networking/meeting people. You got this
One thing I found is you have to create a resume that will get through the Automatic Tracking Systems (ATS). For example if you use tables in your resume, it may get automatically rejected and depending on how they configure, you get a rejection email or not. You have to get through the ATS before a human looks at it.
I dislike ATS evsn if you keyword & numbers.
