Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. When everyone decides to become an engineer then this is bound to happen..the situation will be a much tougher day by day...rite now there are many ppl looking for jobs...remember oracle laid off 12000 employees..woh bhi toh job dhund rahe hai
Freshers are looking for jobs.
Laid-off employees are looking for jobs.
Even those already employed are actively searching.
People from non-IT backgrounds are also entering the IT job market.
At the same time, AI has significantly reduced the need for large teams—where 10 developers were once required, now only 2–3 can handle the same work. Development cycles have shortened, with fewer blockers and errors, cutting timelines from months to just weeks.
In my company, many developers finish tasks in 1–2 hours that previously took 2–3 days.
This is one of the key reasons companies have slowed down hiring and laying off —they no longer need large-scale hiring in IT like before.
The next impact is salary saturation. The era of consistently high, premium IT salaries may not last. With an oversupply of talent, companies know someone else is willing to work for less. At the same time, part of that cost is being redirected toward AI tools and licenses.
Then you don't use maximum capabilities of cursor , Claude models. If requirements are clear and jira is updated with complete details. mid level engineers of 2-4 YOE using AI can do it quickly.

Same .Trying to switch due to toxic people,got two calls,got rejected even after giving my best.Not giving up though
Right now AI has impacted the industry so badly. Layoffs are also increasing the competition. There are multiple factors of not getting ample of calls including the factors I've shared. You need to apply for at least 50 jobs a day in order to get calls back.
I'm also jobless from the last one month but I've not lost the hope and am trying my best to do what I can do.

Brother I'm already having the same experience. Everyone is frustrated here who is searching for a job and not even getting a call. There is no way to get this sorted. I've tried using filters, everything but I always see that there are so many people applying even if it's a single vacancy. Now you said spamming. If I'm applying for a relevant job even 1000 jobs a day that is not spamming my brother. If I'm applying randomly for every job showing even that is not relevant to my profile, that is spamming.
I never told that guy to apply for all random jobs. Hope you understand what I told him to do!

Guys watched google cloud keynote in youtube... Cloud roles are no longer safe..ai agents can connect to source and do all data engineering and reporting work but hum india wale sikhte rahenge..seekhne se bhi kya fayda jab opportunity hi nhi milegi job ki...over Reliance on one sector will destroy india...bas days are yet ro come for indian IT av toh layoffs ka season product companies mei hia..my company laid off 55000 people...AI impact is real..business karo ab..only hughly talented ppl will survive in IT...

How many interviews you gave so far?
Are you not getting calls or not able to convert?
Barely getting calls, and even after clearing 2–3 interview rounds, the profiles often go on hold.
Are you not getting calls or u r not getting selected?
Not getting much calls and I shortlisted with 2 companies but they put it on hold and HR not responding now.
