It was bcz of my 1st company manager’s negligence, he had forgotten the exit interview questionnaire and had asked me on the day of my new company joining, and not knowing the consequences of it, I had filled the exit form on my new company joining date, hence they considered the same date as date of exit. So my 1st company date of exit and the joining date of 2nd company are same. I have asked them many times to change it, but since they have contributed to my pf till that day, they can’t change it.

No employers can change the date of exit u can create a joint declaration online in epfo poratal in 2 mins . But the catch is the old employer must approve try to convince them to approve thats it.

I started QA at the company I am currently at 3 years ago. Long story short, within 4 months at the company, I was able to make a career change and step into a PM position. Without having the formal education or PM experience, only my 5 years in QA experience. When I started I made $65k and have jumped to $78k. I have seen other companies post $100k+. Annual review is tomorrow. Should I fight for more or look for more somewhere else if I lose that fight?
