VTI is bringing SpaceX in at a .1% weight.
It shouldn't matter at all.
I am doing nothing.

Great questions! I have been thinking along the same lines.
Not sure about Anthropic and OpenAi, but yes Nasdaq100 accepted to allow SpaceX in the index faster and with some relaxed conditions.
SP500 did not change rules, so passive Nasdaq100 funds will buy SpaceX before SP500 does the same, so yes bit more divergence for a while.
Impact in my strategy: no Nasdaq 100 etf. US in my portfolio is represented by an SP500 etf and by a Dividend Aristocrat one.
It didn't affect me much, so how did this affect you?
From a strategic investment perspective, I won't overreact to the time lag between the inclusion of VTI and VOO in the index. A more significant issue is long-term market concentration. If companies like SpaceX, Anthropic, and OpenAI go public at high valuations, then the major indices may have greater exposure to artificial intelligence and cutting-edge technologies. For me, this is more about portfolio risk exposure than short-term risk
This is true but getting into VOO requires inclusion in the S&P500 which has a requirement that the company has positive net income. If these companies don’t get to that level, you may be more insulated from them in VOO
