I’m surprised they completely bypassed a primary process.
Didn't think k about the millions of voters for Biden. She didn't get any votes, was just planted. Not a democratic process.
Things were booming under Trump and I think he’ll go against lobbyists, countries, company execs, and anyone for any reason to push the economy forward.
My best years of professional progress have been with Trump and my employer is currently outsourcing jobs, which I know will remain the case with legacy / typical political options.
As a result, won’t be voting for Harris…
Right, because your employer is going to bring those jobs back under a second trumpaster eh? Nah, trump is for trump and no one else. You don’t make enough money to raise his respect, and frankly, would you even want to? Inflation isn’t controlled by government and yet republicans can’t get that through their skills. So much for smart genius’s !
Yes, I am voting for her. I do think she's a good candidate, but even if she wasn't, she's still lightyears better than the alternative.
Fool
Yes, I will vote for her. Would she be my first choice? Not sure. But I can’t vote for Trump. The fact that most of his closest colleagues don’t endorse him, tells me he’s unfit.
Definitely do research. Go back to 80s way before he even thought about running. You would be surprised and how much he loved the country and has the same thoughts of today. Lots of interviews
Not voting for her. I don’t think she’s the best candidate the democrats could have nominated.
Thanks new member. I hope you didn’t join fishbowl just to type that nonsense.
Yes, she has my vote. Half of the individuals who served in Trump’s cabinet refuse to support him. His Secretary of State refers to him as a f***ing moron. Trump refers to himself as a very stable genius. He should take his own advice and drink bleach.
NOPE
No
Yes. Best candidate DNC will have selected since Obama.
Lol
Hell no
Jordan Paul, when you wear a maxi pad on your ear, you don't get to call anyone else a fool.
With the upcoming election, I'm not thrilled with the options, to be honest. I'm really, really concerned about going back to the way things were under Trump, with the blatant disregard for human rights, the dismantling of social justice progress, and the constant lies and corruption. I think it's super important to vote for the lesser of the two evils and prevent a return to those destructive policies.
For me, it's not about party loyalty, but about who's going to do the most good for the American people, especially the working class. I'm going to vote for the candidate who most closely aligns with my values, even if they're not perfect. Right now, my vote is leaning towards Kamala Harris - I think she's got a strong track record and a vision for the country that I can get behind.
I'm excited about her plans to:
- Protect and strengthen the Affordable Care Act, and move towards a Medicare-for-All system
- Take bold action on climate change, including rejoining the Paris Agreement and investing in clean energy
- Fight for economic justice, including raising the minimum wage, protecting workers' rights, and addressing student loan debt
- Reform our broken immigration system, including providing a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants
- Address systemic racism and police brutality, including reforming policing practices and investing in community-led solutions
Please keep in mind that this is just my personal opinion, and I'm only sharing it because you asked about others' viewpoints on the upcoming election. I'm not trying to sway anyone's vote or impose my beliefs on others - I just want to add my voice to the conversation. I'm planning to cast my vote for Kamala Harris and hope that she'll be the one to bring positive change and move the country forward. She's got a comprehensive and progressive agenda that will benefit the American people, and I'm confident she'll work tirelessly to make it a reality.
I'm interested in hearing others' perspectives and learning more about their preferred candidates. Let's keep the conversation civil and respectful, and work together to make our voices heard in this election.
Absolutely not i have a brain
Yes 100% yes... No one knows much about her because she's just been a running mate, however, our time as the district attorney of California was spent lowering statewide crime and getting innocent people out of prison. She has experience dealing with immigrant relations. She's extremely tough and knows how to defend herself when put into a corner. She's a trailblazer and a natural born leader and I cannot wait for everyone to wake up and see it.
What did she do for immigration under this administration? Wasn’t she the border czar?
I woild like to see her economic platform. What is it?
Good one!
Idk where the one guy in the comments is getting the idea that the Dems are running around panicking. It's the Republicans freaking out because this lunatic is completely off the rails, even more than usual, ever since she entered the election.
Anyways to answer your question is Harris the right choice? Idk but she definitely addresses a lot of my concerns (outside of the economy) AND more importantly than anything else, she is better than that psychopath. I'm willing to give her a chance much more than I was willing to vote for Biden again.
It should be pretty telling that there is a Republicans for Harris coalition. They're willing to out themselves and put country over party because they know how much of a threat Trump is to democracy.
Yes, I am voting for her. She actually does have a great track record despite the outright PROVEN lies her opponent spreads (the actual FACTS speak for themselves). I feel that the Republican Party has overstepped their boundaries with American rights as a whole, especially when it comes to women’s rights. I would also be very ashamed to have a president in office that is a convicted felon who encourages violence from his constituents on a regular basis. I also feel that Trump has failed Americans too often to deserve another chance at the presidency. I used to look up to the Republican Party but they have changed too radically over the last 12 years and not for the better.
I wish that more Americans would do their own homework and really research the candidates before casting their vote. There are too many who rely on social media and biased news stations.
She was given a lead role over the border. What did she do to fix it?
I already voted for Biden. can i change thar
No, the border and illegal immigration is a major issue for me.
Family near the border. I am for women rights...I just prefer my state to be regulating it instead of federal...the seesaw of whose in power is nuts. I just don't trust DNC anymore or Republicans. I am also angry about defund the police. The voilence and entitlement of criminals is mind blowing. I got kids to protect and feed ... so economy is another issue ... I can buy a whole lot less right now with my money.
