Best AA service line, no. Highest paying, maybe.
Agree with this. CMAAS in my office (so anecdotal) routine outlapped FDD in revenue for last year or so with the deal market.
I’ll take my PTO accruals
22 or 23… can’t remember exactly. unlimited sick days
It was just for audit and tax staff/seniors
OP - comparable FAAS professionals do not make the same as audit and it’s generally not that close. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Will the highest performing audit professional make a comparable amount to a similar level but slightly below average FAAS professional; sure. That is a totally different discussion.
Seriously I bet you know a few salaries and say, “oh I can compare these two people.”
lol faas is way underpaid compared to cmaas. I doubt 10% will even bring them to parity
PwC hasn’t moved the bad in only 1 year. FY24 did not see an increase, but FY 23 saw 2 increases and FY 25 isn’t out yet.
Who’s doing 40-45 weeks…
Right?
All of EY’s advisory lines are significantly below market. EY forensics by 30-40%, EY accounting advisory by 25-35%, EY transactions by 10-20%.
A 10% bump is better than nothing but still won’t put them anywhere near the best
I made 208k including bonus (192k base) last year as an FDD M3, pretty sure EY FDD is slightly above market here.
lol why Pwc people care that much about us🤣I see even more post by Pwc 🐟 than EY 🐟about this topic… yeah there’s a huge gap in pay, and there’s some wording out there about the increase in pay, but we all know it is a pretty bad year. We are even worry about the PBB

I have the best experience with EY on the other side of transactions so I think you guys deserve more money
faas is underpaid by 15 to 30% compared to CMAASA. so no, it won't get us there. Currently making 25% less than a CMAAS counterpart. It's hard not to think EY doesn't value FAAS for what it is.
So unless FAAS is the low bidder doesn’t that mean that FAAS partners either have way better take home than CMAAS partners, or FAAS people are way less productive.
So is this raise happening or not for FAAS?
Can someone explain what is FAAS and CMAAS? Looking to learn more about advisory accounting.
