I've been fully remote since March 2021. I love it. I'd never want to go back to an office, but I'm an introvert, so I am built for being alone all day.

That is very true. I do contract assignments for a firm and they are completely paperless. But hey it works. I honestly NEVER thought paperless could be possible until I met this attorney. The firm is completely organized and runs smoothly just as if there were physical paper. Getting back to the remote, it makes it possible to be remote through the access to the legal software. Never in my career did I think this was ever possible. I have learned so much from this Attorney it seems surreal.
I don't realistically think I could do my entire job fully remote. There are some things I need to do that are completely dependent on being in person. However, I'm thankful to work somewhere that allows us as much flexibility as possible, which works for me. The things I can do at home, I do. Which is my preference.

I have to balance out myself too. However, as a freelance/Contract Paralegal I am fully remote. I like it like that too. I literally hate answering phones. 😊 However, I will if I have to.
I don't think I could ever do fully remote. The flexibility we've experienced while still performing at work cannot be undone. I can't imagine being in an office 5 days a week 8 hours a day.

I can. But I like the balance being a contract paralegal. It is breathable. It takes away that knawing at the gut and focuses on the work at hand. Like it.
I used to work full time in the office, and after Covid the firm switched to hybrid, and now we have fully remote paralegals. I am fully remote after moving out of state and go to the office when I am back in my office’s state. I am a self-starter and don’t need to be around people to feel included. We have teams meetings weekly to stay connected.
We had a paralegal who worked fully remote and got it in her head that nobody liked her because they didn’t reach out to her to talk. I feel she needed to be in-office for sanity, but wouldn’t go work in the office because of her self-sabotaging thoughts that people didn’t like her. Vicious circle.
It depends on the type of person you are. I function well in either situation.
