Most everyone in this industry has no idea what war is. Sure there is emotional back and forth with people but imagine taking that shower colder, in a muddy setting with a camel spider waltzing in while you’re washing up. Hostile mortar fire could maim or kill you at any second. You saw brutal things happen to people you were friends with yesterday and you’re going right back to the same spot later that day one man short. Could there be a new IED on the road? All this is a cake walk compared to real war.
