Wondering how hard is it to switch practice areas mid-career, like from corporate to privacy, or litigation to regulatory etc? It always sounds like an uphill climb. Once you’re labeled as “X-type” lawyer, it can be tough to rebrand yourself. Has anyone here managed to pivot practice areas after a few years? What helped you make the switch — networking, internal moves, extra training, or just persistence?

Any tips for what Google looks for in customer success manager roles? There's tons of info on S&O and PgM and Product Manager roles, but not CSM. I have an interview lined up but don't want to blow it by talking too much about management, product, or analytics stuff.

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate.
