Our Philadelphia-area boutique firm whose practice works exclusively with nonprofits and charities is hiring due to growth. Tax is the basis of Exempt Org work. That is why I am posting here. Great practice working to further charitable missions of our clients. Good WLB (1300 hour billable requirement). Opportunity for the right person to work remotely. Matters what state you hold your license in as to who you are legally permitted to treat. Like, I'll go visit NJ for a month or two, and still see my online clients while vacationing there, bc they reside in the same state where I am licensed.

This is what I thought and was hoping for. If I was licensed in two states then most likely I could see clients in both then right?
I think it really depends on the state you are traveling to as it is state based. Some have laws prohibiting it while you are out of state and the session won’t be legal. I would just research each state and see. I believe it is rare tho for this to be outlawed.
Your state board governs the laws. Where I am, virtual services are permitted if you are licensed in the state where client resides and receiving services.
