I work well with the clients but I find it difficult to accept the pay I receive for the amount of work I do and is required. Lately, I realize I haven’t been putting in much effort towards paperwork because of the pay I receive.

1- How to calculate an hour rate that covers all the benefits that a contract doesn't covers, like extended health insurance?
2- How do you pay CPP, and all the other expenses that company discount from your salary when you're full-time?
3- is it legal that company requires a mandatory schedule, when you're in "contract"?

Big question for you guys! I’ve been an in house photographer for a mid size women’s clothing brand (500+ stores & ecomm) for over 5 years and shoot everything from on/off fig ecomm, flatlays, and campaigns. I’m the only staff photographer - freelancers get booked for the holes we need to fill on any given day. I currently make 60k. I’ve just been asked to take charge of our ecomm - oversee the freelance photographers & retouchers, art direct ecomm, and continue to shoot. Is 98k too much to ask?

I have given interview at two organization in parallel. My expected ctc was same for both the companies. Now I have recieved offer letter from one organization(say A) and it's under processing in company B.

Since I have received one offer letter, should I go back to company B and inform them as my ECTC has now been increased.

But initially, I had no offer so I have given same CTC expectations.

I joined JPMC last year mid. I was not give any hike last year as I was told that it’s been just few months since joining. I was given a bonus though (1.5 l)

1. Applied for 2posts. Said Under Consideration for one but was interviewed for a different role. Is this normal?

International vs. PCS internal and Exit Opportunities. — I’m a S2 in ATL working in PCS and in international/crossborder for private clients. I need some guidance determining whether I would be better off staying in PCS or declaring a specialty in int’l/crossborder work. I don’t see myself in B4 forever, and it seems the int’l work would limit exit opps in the future. LCSW 50k loan repayment- Has anyone been granted a contract through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program? I’m interested in applying for the 2 years of full time work as an LCSW but my loans are a bit under 50k so I’m wondering if they would only give me what I need to clear my loans or would I still get 50k as long as I complete my contract ?

I think there's this myth that therapists have all their own sh*t figured out, and for me at least I know that's far from true (hopefully it isn't just me). On the contrary, I think we should be leading by example!

Recently received my CSW license and have started working as a therapist at an outpatient clinic. Is a starting salary of $64,500 fair? I am supposed to aim for 28 billing hours (get paid if clients show or not) a week with 12 hours of admin time for other tasks. Thanks for any input.

I wish people would think clearly and hard about having children beforehand. Working as a school counselor and a youth therapist, so much trauma starts early simply because parents don't know any better or do what they were taught. It's tough when it isn't abuse or neglect, but it's still having a negative impact on the child's life. Should I recommend family therapy? Is it overstepping to recommend the parent go to private therapy as well?

How many of you have left or are planning to leave therapy, and what did you transition into?

Do you think all these violent and hate filled attacks are because people aren't getting the emotional/mental support they need, whether it's therapy at any age or help they needed but didn't get from a social worker as a child? My coworker is sure this is the case, but I honestly think there's actually something deeper wrong either with how these people are being raised as children, or how the warning signs these people give off are ignored or swept under the rug to save face.
