Briggs and Riley. Love it. Picked it because of the review of both at thesweethome.com

Next question: does anyone own a 'tegra-lite' piece? How does it hold up?

Have a Tumi Vapor (generation prior to tegra lite) and it has held up fine so far. Got it on one of the discount sites so it was a good deal. If I were buying new I would probably get b&r. Spinner is key.

Tumi

Shocked at these answers. Briggs and R is the best reviewed! Really no comparison.

Well, I bought the Tumi and love it. I got it from Nordstrom so I can complain if something goes wrong!

Have opportunity to work in my firm’s London satellite office for about a year and a half, and then come back to NY headquarters. In good standing with firm and have M&A and capital markets experience. Did not start traveling abroad until my bar trip (did not grow up with the money for trips like that) and think it would be a good personal and professional experience. Any thoughts / advice?

I racked up about $20k in credit card debt due to a confluence of things happening at once (move, school expenses , etc ). I have a fair amount of paper assets but not a much free cash. Assets are down a decent amount with the current market cycle and I’d prefer not to sell them to cover the debt , although they easily could. Any suggestions how to handle the credit card debt without racking up tons of ongoing card interest?
