Wondering what consulting practices my lawyer friends are in?

I had final round interviews last week for the company I really want to work for. I have an offer from another company, which I communicated to the recruiter which expedited the interview to final rounds. I need to respond to the other company's offer letter soon. Should I follow up with the hiring recruiter for the company I want an offer from? Or just move on if I haven't heard back by end of this week?

Been with my GF since college and we recently hit the 4 year mark. 1-2 years into our relationship I found out she had instances of micro-cheating (flirting with guys, talking to ex’s etc - but nothing physical) and we addressed it. To her credit and my knowledge, she’s been apologetic and great at respecting boundaries since, but I still feel the pain from her actions years ago (and have talked to her about it). Need help reg TCS BGC process.
Now I have only 2 days to accept the offer, not yet accepted.
My queries are 1) my 1st exp original services letter is not found ( lost somewhere), have scanned copy , I have supporting doc like form no 16 , full and final settlement , salary slip
2) i don't have a relieving letter from one of the org as they only provided an exp letter, in the same company.
HR is asking for all ex employee bank statement, my first company bank account is 12 yearold

I'm feeling a lot of anger towards my manager (now he's acting normal but there were moments where he was condescending/dismissive/mocked my and others work/arrogant/said stuff was "wrong" constantly/belittling the difficulty of tasks etc. in the past project).
Maybe it is "standard chewing out" but it bothered me a lot. So much that I find myself still getting all fired up inside thinking about it...
Idk how to let go of this :/ Thoughts?

Hey all — feeling lost in the early stages of a probate case. Anyone have experience? I’m worried my uncle (executor) is taking advantage of me.

If my lawyer sent a document with my signature on my behalf to the judge/investigator before I was ready for them to and didn’t notify me till several hours later when I asked when the final doc would go be ready for me to review, should I be upset? Not 100% sure, but sounds like American univ. was originally telling students they would have in-person classes, but couldn’t live on campus. Recommended a few places to look for apts for students. So a friend rented an apartment in DC anticipating he would be attending in-person classes at AU. Now AU has cancelled all in-person classes. No claim to break the lease (probably) but thoughts on promissory estoppel vs. AU or anything else?? Thanks

Hi! I'm not a Lawyer/Attorney (yet!), but I am hoping to attend Law School next Fall. Currently studying for the LSAT and hoping to know how y'all were able to improve your LSAT score?

Had a consultation with an attorney for legal advice on my options to address a late filing for a taxable event. They recommended me two options: file or not file. In order to help him with the consultation he asked to send him additional information like bank statements and work authorization which I sent.

If I decide to not file or go to another attorney if the fees are high, can the attorney still report me or whistle blow me to the tax authorities?

- Georgetown's part-time program (ranked #1 in US, 3yrs): Graduate with 200K in debt
- Application already submitted, results by end of Feb

- George Mason's part-time program (ranked #4 in US, 4yrs): Graduate with 20K in debt (with the possibility of it being $0 debt)

Question: can an employer legally withhold your personal possessions after you leave the firm? I left my old firm recently and they were not happy about me joining another consultancy. They are withholding any belongings that I left in the office and have ignored my emails asking to arrange a pick up or delivery of my personal items.
