I am joining from a product based company. So wanted to know how we are assigned to projects. Will there be any client interviews. If yes will it be very tough? Do we get a say in the projects we can get to work or its usually assigned and we have to take it up.

Saw a job on LinkedIn applied for it and the CEO of the startup reached out to me saying he was game to move to the next stage of the process. Spoke to hiring manager and they even offered another position which matched my skills. Scheduled a full panel interview. Met with the team had a great chat, Founder even said "I guess you can start right away"..Hiring manager calls later says they'll update then boom that generic email hits my inbox. I felt dizziness while working and fell down today.
I had to go to the doctor due to the anxiety and stress I was carrying since the last 2 months. It has affected my health.

Hello All, my joining date needs to be extended by 5 days in JPMC and HR said in call that no revised offer letter based on new joining date will be issued and new joining date confirmation will be somewhat communicated prior to 3 days of onboarding.
However he mentioned he will reply back with a confirmation email on top of the email which I have sent requesting for revised joining date.
Do you see any risk of offer cancellation/revocation here?

Is it legal to use taskrabbit or hire a plumber to fix an issue without my landlords knowledge if I feel that my landlord is being slow about addressing an issue like possible mold from a leak? Not 100% sure, but sounds like American univ. was originally telling students they would have in-person classes, but couldn’t live on campus. Recommended a few places to look for apts for students. So a friend rented an apartment in DC anticipating he would be attending in-person classes at AU. Now AU has cancelled all in-person classes. No claim to break the lease (probably) but thoughts on promissory estoppel vs. AU or anything else?? Thanks

Had a consultation with an attorney for legal advice on my options to address a late filing for a taxable event. They recommended me two options: file or not file. In order to help him with the consultation he asked to send him additional information like bank statements and work authorization which I sent.

If I decide to not file or go to another attorney if the fees are high, can the attorney still report me or whistle blow me to the tax authorities?

How did it take you to pay of all your student loans from law school?

A couple falls in love and moves in together. One person is wealthy and the other is not. The wealthy partner pays for most of the basic home necessities. The wealthy partner also pays for many vacations including the children of both partners. The wealthy partner also pays for expensive car repairs and college tuition for the children of the less wealthy partner. Then, the couple breaks up. Does the wealthy partner have rights to reimbursement? They never married.
