What do you mean “end up having to pray the whole day”? Like you get back and make everything up? I’m at McK too and I’ve never had an issue excusing myself for 5 minutes to pray. If there are client meetings that are long enough to cover the whole salat period, I let my EM/ED know beforehand and I haven’t had any issues AlhamduLillah. If yours are causing problems, talk about it during a retro. It can be a values issue if they’re not taking action on your request.
On a broader note, I feel you on not having time to dedicate to religion. Even if I do get my salat in, it’s quick and hasty and I’m not feeling as connected as much as I’m just checking off a box on my personal to do list. Looking to exit so that I can prioritize what really matters at the end of the day
C1 - I see it as all about intentions. A polite quick handshake in a professional setting.
I just add 15 min placeholders on my calendar as a general approach. Other times you just confidently excuse yourself as you would for a coffee break. With Ramadan coming, I think it’s important to be transparent with your team about such tweaks in your schedule. Trust me, it gets easier:) Esp when you aren’t compromising on quality, which I don’t think 1 cumulative hour in a day can define

No reason why you can’t excuse yourself for 5 minutes to pray. Remember Allah gave us everything in this world including our prestigious jobs and great salary. Build your iman by praying even during some of the most challenging work environments. Seeking advice from this group is a phenomenal step. Good luck brother
Tell them about your prayer schedule or block time on your calendar, people are understanding and Salah is more important than anything you’ll ever do in this dunya so don’t deprioritize your connection with Allah when it is Allah that controls your risq. Praying all prayers at once is not from the Sunnah and Allah says that Salah has fixed times.

I believe the stigma is like a mental barrier i have against making my prayer, it’s a tough fight where i miss zuhr a lot- i think this thread is showing me i need to set the boundary firmly
