Work in expert networking and like my role, not my dream industry and not great work life balance. I am conflicted on applying for a promotion to be a manager vs switching into another field and moving out of NYC. It is so expensive and I would rather live in a quieter city, but I feel like the opportunity to manage a team at 25 and be heavily involved in the growth of the company would be great for early in my career. Better to be promoted or get into field I love early and cheaper city?

I've seen people say that if you're underpaid, you can't just outline your contributions because your manager needs a compelling reason for finance to bump your salary and they need to prove you're underpaid. So how do I present my case that I'm being underpaid other than "my friends make this amount in their role" or "Glassdoor says this" when finance can find rebuttals for these arguments?

I’m in big law and on the cusp of making the jump to in-house. It sounds like the company I just interviewed with is getting ready to make me an offer. It’s definitely going to be a pay cut coming from big law but I do get some nice equity in the company. Is the jump worth it? Hi all I'm interviewing for a role as a BDR in Dublin in cloud computing. I graduated in 2020 (bachelors) and have worked as a sales manager at a store. They offer € 33k/year and € 22k in commission with relocation fees etc.

I’m seriously enatkng to get into an SE role and have been searching for Associate Sales Engineers that do NOT require SE experience since I’ve none. It’s proving to be difficult. Most companies for some reason are requiring 2-3 years of experience for the Associate role. 😭 Any Sales Engineers who know of companies hiring those with no experience? I have two referrals for a position that I’m trying to apply to, however only one of the employee referrals is showing “attached” to the application. I accepted both employee referrals and they both show under my google account, but for the specific job application (which hasn’t been submitted yet) that one referral just won’t show up!!
