Would a silver elite status on Marriott Bonvoy give one privileges to request a 5pm checkout ? I used to be able to do that with spg platinum.

Totally unrelated to accounting but I am considering buying a coffee machine (for my long hours in PA..) Have spent alot on my cappuccino now and need a cheaper fix. I can’t decide between pod coffee machine like Lavazza modo mio desea or semi auto machine like D’longhi Dedica which needs grounded coffee and will require some labour in making coffee. Is manual coffee machine worth the effort or go for pod? (Ps my kitchen doesn’t have space for full auto machine)

Southwest is offering companion pass for 1 year for getting their credit card for California residents

Booking a local weekend trip with the wife and I have an option to spend 100k Bonvoy points for 2 nights or use 50k + 1 free night award up 50k. Since my free night expires mid-next year, I should go ahead and use that first before using my points right? Hotel is 50k a night/category 6.

I’ll only end with ~90 nights but over 20k spend at SPG. Can I use both gifts for 5 night credit to get to ambassador? Not sure it’s even worth it..
