Would like to renegotiate my salary, I feel underpaid but before I ask for a raise I want to make sure. Currently make 60k with employer paying 12k for insurance. I manage 2 restaurants in every aspect aside from BOH food inventory which Kitchen manager handles and payroll. Is 60k for my role as General manager running 2 separate restaurants fair?

My Dad has over 28 years of experience in Managing accounts and Finance of various companies. He’s really struggled a lot to get where he is right now. Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?

A coworker and I Both have been a tech for the same amount of years but she got 1.50 more than I did.
