My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

Only you can answer if it makes sense for you, if it’s a step up from your last place etc. if you are worried about potential future layoffs, sure, but remember you may be laid off from any agency at any time for any reason. Do what is best for you maximizing what you need from the agency, whether that means money, portfolio-worthy work, or something else.
Totally agree with this advice. And just to reiterate , regardless of what your offer letter says, we’re all freelance now.
On the media side, no. Above is accurate, but IPG is looking to deliver on Krak’s savings commitment to Omnicom. We have consistent layoffs and it will get worse as the year goes on and we are closer to year end numbers and acquisition dates. You can imagine what that does to morale and IPGMB leadership is nowhere to be seen, so no vision or plan other than savings and cuts. Clients must be feeling the impact.
Nope!
Just left an IPG agency.
On one hand there is an internal rumor going around that some smaller agencies might be combining or being absorbed. If/when this happens there will be a lot of redundancies and layoffs, possibly leadership changes and inevitably client relationships will be in jeopardy.
On the other, it's a massive acquisition and I think it will take a long time before leadership decides what they want to do and how. And implementing a plan will take even longer. I think it may be a while before we see how this really takes shape (beyond immediate layoffs and scaling back expenses to demonstrate cost cutting as someone said above)
