250 all day lmao. Take the extra 150 and invest, folks. Come on.

The more you make, the faster you can gtfo.
Only kinda hate? Definitely the 250.
I mean is this a serious question? 150% more money is a lot…
Ohh this is tough.. I'll say the 100k if I legitimately love the work and it stays that way and doesn't turn into something I hate like so many passion jobs do.
Lmao right like my dream job is not advertising
Currently make $250k working a job I hate. Often miss my fun agency job where I made $85k
I’ll gladly switch.

I don’t even make 100K and I hate what I do, so bring on the money. Or, you know, give me a small raise and make the job better.
Either choice is a drastic improvement.
Can you live on 100k and have good quality of life or not? I feel like location and family situation matter to be able to answer this.
250k easy. What.
Is your job your identity?
Only then can you make a smart decision.
Hard for people to answer this since "doing work you love" happens to such a small percentage of people in advertising.
A, especially because “kinda” is the operative word. Mentally or physically debilitating hate changes the answer
With $250k, I can do things I love that have nothing to do with work at all.
Totally depends on how much I love/hate and how much I need/don’t need the money at the at point in life. It’s all relative.
I'll take the 250k I'm already doing things I hate for a fraction of that amount and I'm ok. LoL
Morals are for the privileged
Heyyy! @cd2 gets it
250k until you max out those retirement savings.
I already make 100k on work I kinda hate so yah I’d do it for 250k
Depends what the goals are. If building something new, 250k is worth the effort. If we have already accomplished most n just have little details n retirement set then 100K.
In nearly every job in advertising that I’ve been in there are parts of it and/or times that I have liked/loved it (people, work, challenges, culture, clients, etc) it AND others that I have disliked or even despised the same place (due to the same factors but different scenarios).
If that hasn’t happened to you yet, give it a few months to years, after regime and client changes. But I try to go to the places that seem like they will be more fun/interesting, with eyes wide open about potential negatives.
Take the money as long as you’re not starting too far over on the negativity scale. Save money/invest. Do fun shit with discretionary income. Move jobs if things get intolerable.
If B leads to great work, that makes more money in the long run. May be a worthwhile sacrifice.
