Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

Negotiating with EY for M/SM Tech Consulting. I have 15 years experience, skills are in demand and my interviews went extremely well. 1. What are the salary ranges for M and SM in NYC. 2. I am told it is only going to be a M now, for my own benefit-no EY network means failure at selling. Whats the highest salary I can negotiate at M. Any other tips will be handy. I have "sold" (support on sales & new roles through relationships) plus I have solid delivery experience. I really want SM 😀😀😀 EY

Bain & Company Is it truly easier to get in a smaller MBB office?
Have heard a lot for different opinions on these. The logic is that it’s easier because there is a lot of supply in cities like NY, Chicago and SF, but the counter argument is that the offices with less supply are also way smaller and have a lot less demand.

No. I know whether I liked the company and felt like I represented myself well. I know after an interview whether I would take a job offer if one was extended to me. I also know my "minimum to join" threshold (and unhappy), as well as my "fuck you that is a shit load of money and I don't havd to think about it, yes" join threshold.
And yes, someone did once give me enough money where I had to stifle the exclamation of shock in how much money they were willing to pay me. I didn't take it immediately then because all prior teachings told me to wait, but I waited like 2 hours with a dumb grin on my face and no real ability to comprehend a company understanding my worth... in retrospect, not jumping on it revealed more of my hand than I expected... so I have in fact revised to know my no-thought join threshold.
You still got the job?

I always think I can but I’m pretty much always wrong
yes. and if i’m feeling on the fence, that means i’m not getting it (in my personal experience).

I’ve been wrong far more times than I’ve been right.
Sometimes you did nail it but other factors are at play - like the other candidate/candidates having a strong connection or more experience

That other CW is now your lifelong nemesis.
I am surprised if I didn’t get it, but that’s just irrational confidence which seems to be important when you interview or at least for me. Usually works out and in the cases where it didn’t it was probably for the best.
The last two times I interviewed and thought I crushed it the role was literally put on hold but I think that has nothing to do with me ?
I usually know. Only one one time I’ve been flat wrong. And it hurt.
So often it is the opposite of what you expect.
I want to say generally yes. I know when I walk away from interviews if they would deem me as someone they’d like to hire or not, but the not knowing the situation on potential other candidates always pulls me back down from that high horse because there can be so many more factors than just me nailing an interview.
