Has anyone been reading about that ex-BDO IT audit manager who shot her old manager and then shot people who worked in the building she lived in? She claims she had evidence of old manager committing fraud, reported it and then was fired. She says she took evidence of the fraud when she left and her life was threatened by BDO and clients. Then supposedly the condo employees conspired with BDO to let them break into her condo and steal her evidence. Her story doesn’t make anyyyyy sense to me.

I have been trying to switch to a technical role at G for some months now with very little luck despite submitting CLs for my current team + 20% exp. I’m currently in a sales ladder but do mostly development work and want to switch to a role that offers me more support and growth tech wise. I’ve also been interviewing externally and I have heard positive feedback for SWE @ Microsoft just need team matching. Would it be smart to switch or wait to find a SWE/UXE or other tech role at G?

Has anyone actually looked at the math, calculated, and compared a freelance day rate of about 1-1.2k, booked for whatever % of the year, versus a full time staff salary of say, 200k… at what numbers do they even out when you factor in taxes, health insurance, paid vaca time etc?
