You are absolutely going to see a range based on agency and media vertical. At the AD level, there should be the ability to lead a client engagement and supervise a few analysts.

In most cases the technical skills would be uber fluency in Excel and some of SQL, SAS, Tableau/Quik, Python, etc. Fluency in one type of media and working knowledge of another. A working knowledge of statistics and ability to do in depth analysis (solve unknown problems)

You will see some ADs who have come from client side or strategy roles (or even media roles) without the technical chops. It is what they make of the role and the team they are surrounded by - it can be good if they empower their team or it can be a disaster.

How can I merge FB and GA data? Some clients of mine believe that Facebook doesn't bring us results 'cause GA says so. The difference between the two of them is A LOT.
