John Fetterman 2024

Hi all, Recently i interviewed at Adobe for the post of computer scientist, Noida location. Had 5 technical rounds, but after that i didnt get any further response. One of HR called me and asked me to wait for a day or 2 last week, she gave me the reason that there are some issues going on in company. It's been 2 weeks now and i haven't got any response from them, i have been following up on mail and call, but there is no response either. What could be the reason ?? Any adobe folk out there ??

Python
I wouldn’t worry about getting certified in Power BI. Just focus on Python
Okay… my “Python” response was rather empty. In terms of SQL, make sure you can do the following:
1. Design a normal schema (star/snowflake)
2. Perform analytic queries ( OVER / PARTITION BY )
For Python, get familiar with dataframes and Pandas and Numpy
If you want to progress to Data Science, scikitlearn
Don’t forget business and marketing skills. A data analyst with technical skills only will face challenges as it relates to career growth. The market wants you to be technical but also commercially aware.
Yea Power BI is pretty intuitive and easy to learn (very similar to tableau). As everyone said, I’d focus on Python at this point. It’s pretty straight forward as well.
Best of luck!!
The ole "storytelling" comes to mind. What does that mean? Be able to demonstrate that you can crunch the numbers (hard skills) but also interpret what happened and why/what influenced the observed performance or business outcomes (be commercially aware), and then also understand a bit of strategy and come to the table with recommendations or answers to:
So what? Why should your stakeholders care?
What should your stakeholders do about it? What do you want or need from them [to drive business success]?
What are the next steps?
It's insufficient to just dump out what happened and to a lesser extent why it happened. Stakeholders need guidance around what to do about it.
