I had an interview with @cognizant all rounds done with HR AND Salary negotiation, after that I sent an email to them related to my offer status. However, they replied me as, we have kept you on hold etc.
And now @cognizant hr called me 3 times for job opening, and I have told them my offer is on hold. Now, they have scheduled interview. Is it for same or new. It's really confusing for me.
If they release old offer what we have discussed or they will interview me again

Currently in RC role at the A level and have an opportunity for the SA level but also have an opportunity to go HCM.
Hr consulting is dumb
If you don't want to travel that much, stick with Fed. Yes you can make more money immediately but you will still be doing ok if you don't. You will also be upset about being on the road. And honestly, 20-30k is a lot but it's not necessarily worth your time and what you will lose from a time perspective if the no travel is a big appeal to you. If you just care about the money tho and can deal with the travel, then take the money. You can always quit.
HCM while I’m young and have no family
If I was single I'd go for the traveling gig. Get a lot of experience, mingle with clients, travel, get miles, and come home ever once in a while. Sounds good to me.
Oh and don't forget. Make more money. I'm head of my household so that's really important to me.
Live your life while you're young.
Clearly the answers younger are going to differ based on the priorities of who's responding, as indicated by the firm I've chosen to work for. But low six figures is good enough for a comfortable lifestyle almost anywhere. Take that 9-5 and develop your friendships, hobbies, and emotional wellbeing.
Fed consulting is slow and boring, it takes you awhile to develop the same skills that you would develop in commercial much faster. For example, I was in fed consulting for another company before joining DD. Took them 3 years to redesign a site, the same task would take 8-10 months in the commercial world
