I have never understood why companies invest so much money in online communities and don't hire enough staff to manage them. It's not expensive, and it creates a much more polished image.

Most of the brands I work with have established online communities already, but does anyone know how I can increase signups for new brands? Maybe a free product giveaway or something?

If you are having trouble getting a response from a company, I would always recommend reaching out to them online as well... they are more likely to help when the problem is highly visible
