Why is it so extremely tough and competitive to land a job in the gaming industry? I'm looking for an open position for a community manager.

There are so many people trying to get into the gaming industry. Especially over the last 10 years. You have to be exceptional to a chance now

It is because the popularity of gaming has increased. To be honest, there are game jobs that are fairly easy to get, while others can be quite difficult. You need to have an edge to get a job.

Companies want the best employees for the position. The industry is getting bigger and bigger. It is no surprise that the competition is tough.

The number of applicants in that industry has been increasing. The companies want to filter and hire only the best of the best. I think that's one of the reasons.

It is one of the most competitive industries right now. It is understandable if the hiring process is tough and competitive. Best of luck!

It is particularly hard in that industry because it is starting to grow. Growth entails competition. I guess that's one of the reasons.

A lot of people right now are trying to get into that industry. Companies picking the best candidates is only natural.

How did it go? Did you get a job? I think the competition is still the same wherever you go.
