I guess some people are just really tired of working. It makes sense, given the outlook for the future. But at least they're there, I guess lol
I don't mind this. After all, if a company has some worth, all the information you need should be posted on their website.
I think some community managers may put in little effort because they don't fully understand the role and how important it is to engage with the members of their community. They think it's just following people and liking their posts.
They may not be aware of the value that an engaged community can bring, such as improved customer loyalty, increased brand recognition, and more positive customer reviews.
I think a lot of them are very young and they may not recognize the importance of their job. I also don't think that many people who are community managers have some sort of formal training in marketing.
I've only been in the industry for a few years but I've never experienced this, same with the communities I'm apart of outside of work. Is this something you've experienced often?
They are probably new to the profession, not fully trained or just don't care anymore. It doesn't really bother me that much.
Let's cut them some slack. We know hard it is to be in our shoes. Let's hope that they are mentally and emotionally healthy.
They might not be in their right state. Others are just working just for the sake of it.
