Does anyone know how I can speak with someone more senior at SPG? The customer service I’ve encountered is completely unacceptable and I’m tired of being put on hold for 20 minutes with no solution

How is your Ambassador service? I reached it with the merge but really bad so far. Not reactive, I have to wait days and send multiple emails to get an answer, doesn’t do what she says she would do...

Anyone else not getting points / nights for recent Marriott stays? Account activity isn’t working in the app

Arrived at a SPG property last week and had email confirmation and booking in the app but hotel didn’t have it - manager blamed merger IT issues, anybody else experienced this recently?

Almost 4 weeks in and my status is still wrong. It was correct for the first ~1 day and then bumped down a level. Shouldn’t be hard as all my nights last year were SPG. This is ridiculous.

Having to call Marriott to apply a suite night award to an SPG hotel on a reservation you made before the merger and combining accounts proves to you how much is still SO WRONG with this merger.

How do I request suite upgrades on the new app? I have 10 that will expire this year and can’t seem to find a way to apply them on a reservation. Thanks for the help!

I am about 100 nights away from reaching the lifetime grandfathered premier access, not sure if I can make it by year end. No longer on travel projects. Any tips? Any new updates from Marriott?

Can you still earn status under the old world requirements if you have not combined? Trying to see if I can score an extra year of plat before I combine but idk if stays will count now, merged or not.

Do Starwood reservations eventually come over onto Marriott after you combine? Mine still haven’t...

This merger blows. SPG had a legit no blackout policy but Marriott says they do no blackout but they have inventory control which is essentially the same shit. Such deceptive tactic. 😡😡

Has anyone successfully merged their accounts? Any benefits to merging SPG->Marriott vs Marriott->SPG

FYI If your name doesn’t match exactly you can’t combine. And when I called SPG they said the account maintenance wasn’t ready so to call back

I was platinum lifetime marriott... on the spg app, i now show gold lifetime. That should show Platinum lifetime right?

Who is still having issues? Mine currently 1) Wrong lifetime night count (wrong on one and zero on other) 2) Missing reservations 3) Missing past stays 4) Discrepancy between website and mobile app

FYI - Just went on the Marriott website and selected the option to combine both spg and Marriott accounts. All stays and details updated. Past history to be updated in 48 hours. Get it done folks!!

Was able to book 6 nights at the St Regis Maldives, Overwater Villa. 140K SPG points (so 420K New Marriott points)

So how do you merge the accounts? I log in to the SPG site and I just see the combined amounts (which may or may not be correct). I didn’t want to merge til end of the year

I am currently showing 800 days and 9 years elite. Anyone know if this year is included in that if I have 50 nights? Right on the border for lifetime platinum premier elite and I want it!!!
