11 people in here already? That's awesome! I'll do my best to get some continuation on engagement going.

Thought for the day that I heard on the MFM podcast while driving home for the holidays: Don't wait until 2023 to start that New Year's Resolution! Start today and you'll be a full 2 days ahead of anyone else trying to achieve your goals!

Building a business? Looking for a new career? Working on yourself?

What are you working on in 2023?

Eventually I'll remember to switch back to showing my full profile when I post in here. Networking as anonymous seems difficult. Chalk that up as the first #newyearsresolution

Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.

Did i do the right thing?

I was listening to a Mufti Menk lecture yesterday on this topic. Surah Nashra is also about burdens we bear. Within this Surah,Allah SWT speaks about how He is the one that granted the cure, purity, and strength after the backs were about to break. Allah SWT takes us to this point to refine us. We never know our capabilities until we are tested and challenged. This is when we realize we can do it and we can get through it 🫶🏻! IA you got this 🫶🏻!

I have used web quests, but I have found that the kids researching their choice of topics and creating Slides containing information and pics results in more students participating. Friendly tip from a former recruiter & HR PM.

Under no circumstances disclose how much you make or what you want to make.

Tell the recruiter,” I need to interview to learn more about the specific details of this opportunity before I’ll know how much I need to accept a potential offer…”

I discuss & other do’s and dont’s on IG.
