It is mentally and physically so difficult to navigate, even under the best conditions and with a support system. It’s hard for me to talk about with anyone that isn’t experiencing it or has gone through it. I put on a brave smile and try to function normally but there’s nothing normal about it. Socially or otherwise.
I wish you lots of luck in your next steps, they say all you really need is one.
After having 17 eggs extracted, after the whole process including PGTM genetic testing, I was pretty surprised and disappointed to be left with only one, but the transfer was successful and I am currently pregnant and I truly wish you the same.
Just wanted to send some hugs your way. This is an incredibly hard journey to be on.
One more than I had after 4 rounds 😔 praying for you!
Thank you! Praying for you as well 🫂
I never had any success with IVF, meaning I have zero embryos after trying for 5 years. To my surprise IUI worked twice, but then lost the pregnancies due to clotting factor issues most likely cause the POC came out genetically normal. Yes, it is a numbers game filled with heartache cause you don’t know in advance if they are genetically normal with IUI, but it is really not all lost if failing IVF. I thought there was no hope, but was very surprised to get pregnant and I am going to try IUI again
This process is exhausting. I was in the same situation and did not get the good 50%. Working on putting myself together again enough for one more try.
Sending love and prayers for your success.
My best friend did numerous rounds of IVF over many years. They had one genetically viable embryo. She could not carry, so they got a surrogate when they were 42 years old. That embryo is their 10 year old daughter. It only takes one. Good luck to you. 🙏
I wish you the best of luck and lots of hugs! I’ve gone through 4 rounds of IVF without a normal embryo (my last one came out aneuploid). I’m prepping to go into my 5th round soon. We got this!
Good luck!
Keep going! I’ve done 4. First time, I got 2, second 1, third 5, fourth still TBD.
Nice I love when people encourage others
I agree. My husband and I are currently going through this process, our next stage is embryo extraction.... such a scary stressful situation
No I completely agree... my husband and I are trying to keep positive, we have had months of delay as our paperwork went missing due to the booking clerk being on annual leave.
I feel you. I’m doing my 4th now.
Cool
