Not illegal for the bag to stay on the plane for domestic flights. Only international flights does every bag have to match a passenger onboard. Source: I worked the ramp for 5 years

Illegal not to remove the bag

That’s what I thought ! She even forgot an iPad on the damn plane. Sloppy

like

It is illegal. The bags on the plane must match the passengers. The FA May have been saying it just to dissuade her from leaving. They often make things up when it suits their purpose

like

Checked bags also go through security though. I'm not seeing that logic stack up.

Final Destination bruh

A3, what about when our bags do not make the flight we are on and are sent on a later flight?

Should work the same. If you get pulled off an international flight your bag should get pulled too. Domestic, the bag goes and you don’t. I’m pretty sure that’s the way it works across airlines. But at my airline that’s how we did it.

To clarify, there are times when I have gotten on an international flight and succesfully reached my destination and for whatever reason my bags did not make it on the plane. At that point, the airline had the bags go on a later flight to my destination.
Seems like that would disprove the "every bag has to match a passenger onboard" rule

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.
