Mindtree culture is detoriating day by day . No clarity on hike and appraisal even though mail have been sent regarding this since Dec 2021 . Disgusting HR head practice who joined from CTS . How come they don't abide by what they communicate and keep silence without any update for delay .
Shameful . Feeling Disappointed. Has joined this company 11 months back with hopes for longer and fruitful association but will resign soon . Pathetic company Mindtree

I recently graduated from law school and have started my clerkship in the superior court of NJ. Once done with my clerkship, I’m hoping to work in employment law (defense). I’ve seen online that Jackson Lewis is hiring at their Berkeley Heights, NJ location. Can anyone give me any insight on what it’s like to work at JL? culture? First year associate salary? Typical work day? Jackson Lewis P.C.

Lmao severely
I’m in Denver. 4th year. Making $220k
I keep getting messages from recruiters with salaries starting at $175k. Just wanted to make sure their not click bait 😂
A lot of the biglaw lawyers will comment that you’re being ripped off etc; take them with a grain of salt. You’re just a little underpaid, not massively underpaid. There are a lot of ID partners working similar hours who will only rake in 150-200k per year. I think you should be somewhere around 130-140 + good bonus.
I think some on this app have the unrealistic expectation that every lawyer can be paid biglaw scale. Most biglaw lawyers don’t have skills to actually warrant charging 700-1500 dollars an hour; the reason they can charge that much is because they have clients who will pay premiums in exchange for the ability to abuse an army of associates from T14 schools to handle big matters with quick turnaround. So obviously they are going to make a lot of money but it’s apples and oranges to firms charging 150-300/hour on ID work.
Dude yes
Houston; Insurance Defense; 1st year; 1980 billable hours; and my base is $100k before bonuses.
Also wildly underpaid
Fwiw: Denver, AmLaw 100, 3rd year, $230k
Not ID though, transactional practice.
You can make more than that by going in house…
$55 per billable is low…
That's low for a first year associate in markets smaller than Denver.
Yes, you are definitely underpaid.
Yes, for Denver 4th year very low.
I make 90k with an 1800 billable requirement. MCOL city. Average $280/hour rate (it varies based on client - some are on Plans)…..
^I posted this and have been told by others on this app I am not underpaid.
Yes
Denver firm- I am 130k+ bonus with 1500 minimum billable requirement.
