75k salary with 180 hours a month billable for a civil premier defense firm......seems a little low on $$$ for the billables ...I’m a second year associate ....any thoughts?

One of my family members is diagnosed with breast cancer and I have to take care of her. I have been working from home (1.6 Yr) since the joining in my present organization. But now, they are saying if I resign due to any reason then I have to serve notice period (90 days) from office that too in night shift 3:00 to 12:00. My office is in different state.

What should I do, should leaving the company right away is right thing? I am having the all the salary slips, appraisal lett with me.

I need help with compensation info. I received an offer of 120k base (TC 140k) with JPMorgan (NJ Office) as a senior IT Audit associate and I've interviewed with Microsoft and awaiting feedback for IT Audit Manager role (remote). I wanted to know what the compensation breakdown (base, stocks, bonus etc) for the Microsoft role will look like. Also, is it worth waiting for a response before signing JPM, as I've stalled for a bit? I have 6+ YOE. Thoughts please.

They did not have a detailed discussion regarding the compensation .
But they told i will be getting link for uploading documents and then hr would be discussing for compensation.
Its been 2 days. No update. Can anyone guide. Why 2 hr rounds ? N how much time it takes?

I like the location of Deloitte/EY more but the Accenture job seems more fun (actual consulting vs more IT audit). But, Accenture is not in the city I want.

Is there a definitive guide to cost of living? The obvious cost of living centers (SF, NYC, LA etc.) get covered a lot, but I’m wondering where my city falls. It’s a modest Midwest city with ~100k residents but is a relatively touristy spot. It often feels like a MCOL area but I’m not sure how to adequately judge that, and it would be helpful to know when comparing salaries and the like.

Went on a bachelorette trip where the maid of honor was very anal, she made us do bi-monthly check ins with slides/agenda/itinerary since last year. We even had to share outfit pictures of exactly what we would be wearing, we got a dress code (color, length of dress, types of accessories), how to make the bride stand out, and tips on how to take pictures a certain way to flatter the bride. Now she’s going to be joining my office too, im scared I’ll have to see her often and socialize
