A bit disillusioned in Product Management after almost 10 years of experience working in all kinds of companies. I wasn't so lucky as to work in one that actually knew what product management is. So, I'm exploring project/program management. Has anyone made a successful transition into the field? Did you find it challenging to get interviews? Any credentials that helped find a job? I'm in Australia, by the way, if that matters.

As product managers, what questions would you ask when interviewing a product designer?

Are there any good PM certification that’s worthwhile? Not something that’s on Udemy for 2 hours of coursework.
Most “certifications” I’ve seen seem a bit superficial… but my current PM job feels like a glorified project manager role so I was hoping to use my extra time to study/earn a certificate to show my skill. If possible.

A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. I believe that one PM role is preferred in the industry and most modern software companies, especially FAANG companies, only have PMs. Just curious what others have experienced and if I'm correct in my assumption.
