Hi,
If I get referred at IBM, get a mail for details from the HR but do not reply as I currently don't want to switch because of some reasons, can I get referred again after say 3 months?
Asking cuz the profile blocks for an year after applying/getting referred at Accenture.
Please help with the answer.

Those oneway video interviews feel so cold and awkward. It’s hard to show personality or real experience when you’re basically talking to a wall and hoping an algorithm likes your tone. It definitely feels more about saving time for head office than actually getting to know a person.

Absolutely and that's what an interview is about. I can answer some prompts but what if my personality doesn't fit in and gel? They not I won't know until it's too late!
I really struggle with one-sided interviews—they feel awkward, and I don’t feel my personality comes across. I’d much prefer a face-to-face interview.

I'll take whatever I can get at the moment but yeah it's not great but I can't avoid them!

This video interview process scares me, I haven’t done it yet but the thought of talking to a computer is just odd to me

It's the future! Or... So they say 😜
I don't think the issue is about people preferring it or not. It seems like a very simple cost saving measure and I don't like it at all. Very impersonal and awkward!

Cost cutting before even starting the job... Wonder what the job is like?

Face-to-face chat is definitely better for me. I’ve only done one of those automated video interviews, and it was actually quite weird having to record video responses to each question without them being asked by a person.

I'm sure people will eventually see it's not as effective and go back to face to face...
