Have final round interviews at BCG tomorrow. I'm at S& right now at the SA level. Father had a sudden health issue come up this week and it's got me off my game. I'll ultimately need to support him financially for at least a year while he recovers. Not complaining, but has me considering just dropping out of the interview process. Is that crazy? Is the opportunity with BCG really so far beyond what I have already with S&? Is dropping a better look than interviewing and doing terribly?

I’m Interviewing for a promotion tomorrow and I am wondering what a typical pay increase is for a move from agent to SME for a large tech company in Austin. Everything I am reading is based on stats from 2019 or 2020. I know how much people have gotten in the past for the same move at my company and in the event that they offer me something similar I am wondering if it would be acceptable for me to negotiate for more due to inflation? How come McKinsey doesn’t utilize interns and full time hires for on campus recruiting help like Bain and BCG does?

For those roles in non strategy such as risk or implementation, does any of the mbb recruit out of non targets?
